Molly was raised and born in Pennsylvania. Molly began her professional life when she was thirteen, at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. She played Little Red Ridinghood shortly after in the Arden Theater s Into the Woods production for which she was awarded the Barrymore Award nomination. The actress reprised the role in her Broadway debut at 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly has also appeared on Fiddler on the Roof, the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a member in the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 2008. It was during this time when she made her feature film debut in Disney's College Road Trip in the role of Wendy Greenhut. at the time, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. After graduation Molly appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater as well as in a few TV shows, including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys.
