
Trisha Shershberger was born and raised in the US and is an online/TV personality. SourceFed, her YouTube channel, is where she is getting the bulk of the attention. Hershberger is the daughter of a Pennsylvania resident who was raised in Schwenksville. Hershberger was a student at Gwynedd Mercy Academy where she was an Archdiocesan scholar. DeSales University awarded her full grants to pursue her bachelors of arts in theater and minors in theology. Growing up Hershberger pursued a profession as a film and theater actor, TV, hosting and modeling. Hershberger's professional career in entertainment started at the age of five when she was involved in community and regional theatre. Hershberger participated in the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and did commercials while in the college. When she graduated in 2005, Hershberger was able to leave Pennsylvania to pursue a professional job in Los Angeles, California. In the course of this time, Hershberger entered the internet scene and has been featured in many YouTube channels, including IGN, Fandom, Smosh, Rhett and Link, TheFineBros, Nerdist, and more. Her break from the web came in the month of March 2012, when she became a full time host for SourceFed. SourceFed is a YouTube Original channel is owned by DeFranco Creative and Business Inc. Hershberger and her co-hosts of SourceFed were awarded their award, the Series of the year (Audience Choice Award), during the third Annual Streamy Awards in February 2013. They also were awarded the Best news and Culture Series at the fourth annual Streamy Awards the next year.
